The Vision: A Custom, Spacious Mountain Retreat

When our clients approached us, they had a vision: to transform their outdated condominium into a custom mountain retreat that felt both spacious and sophisticated. The original Palisades Tahoe finishes were no longer serving their needs, and a number of awkward angles and wasted spaces were limiting the condo's true potential. Our mission was to reimagine the entire space, creating a sanctuary that was as beautiful as it was functional.

An Open and Integrated Kitchen

The kitchen was completely rebuilt from the ground up. We started by pushing back a wall to gain valuable floor space, allowing us to add a row of custom "nook" cabinets for extra storage. The new kitchen features sleek, horizontal grain rift-cut white oak cabinetry and high-end integrated appliances that blend seamlessly into the design. We also crafted a bar-height countertop with minimal, almost invisible supports, giving it the elegant illusion of floating above the peninsula.
