Design & Development Phase

Complimentary Design Consultation

Explore our design-build process and gain valuable insights during a one-hour consultation at our Reno Design Center or virtually online. Share your project's details and your vision for your home with us. Together, we can assess if we are the best match for bringing your ideas to life.

In-Home Consultation

Once we’ve established that we’re the best fit for your project we can schedule a short site visit to your home and collect the necessary details for your estimate. Following this, we will present the project a preliminary investment range and projected timeline for your project.

Design & Preliminary Design Proposal

We’ll collaborate closely with you to craft your design, presenting it in detailed 3D perspectives. Together, we’ll finalize key product selections and approve the floorplan, cabinet layout, and other crucial elements. Once these are confirmed, we will establish a clear price range.

Next, we’ll provide you with a Preliminary Design Proposal, which includes a refined investment range and a comprehensive scope of work. At this stage, a PDP payment—4% of the updated estimated project cost—will be collected. Upon payment, you’ll gain access to our software system, allowing you to track the progress of your project.

Finalized Design Package

You’ll select all the final details for your home, from trim and moldings to grout and paint colors. These choices will be incorporated into your Finalized Design Package. At this point, the final payment for the Project Development phase—10% of the total project cost, minus the Retainer and PDP payments—will be due.

With the project cost finalized, we’ll sign the Home Improvement Contract, which solidifies your payment schedules, allowances, and the final project cost. This agreement marks the start of the Construction Phase.

The Construction Phase

Pre-ConstructioN

Before we begin demolition and construction you will be presented with a Home Improvement Contract fir review, outlining all areas of your project, including your Scope of Work. We can meet with you to go over the details of your project before demo begins. We’ll address factors such as accessibility and security during construction, and any other relevant specifics. This discussion ensures you’re fully prepared for the construction phase.

Construction

We will take care of ordering all project materials and supplies, obtaining necessary engineering and building permits, and scheduling our in-house crew and local subcontractors. You can track the progress and timeline of your project on our online dashboard, accessible from your computer or smartphone. Throughout the process, our CEO and Project Superintendent will keep you updated and maintain regular communication with you, as will our Executive Administrator regarding your projects costs.

Project Completion

As we complete your project, paying attention to every last custom detail, we will keep in close contact with you as we approach occupancy timing. This includes finishing the punch list, passing the final inspection, and finalizing the Owner's Acceptance Agreement. At this stage, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with the finished work.
