The client's goal for this unit at The Village at Palisades Tahoe was clear: to create a warm, immersive, and luxurious Rustic Mountain escape. We embarked on a complete, studs-out renovation, leaving no detail untouched. The project required not just high-end finishes, but clever space reconfiguration to improve the flow of travel and functionality throughout the unit, delivering a home that is both beautiful and intuitively designed.

The Statement Entry: Setting the Tone

The unit immediately immerses guests in the rustic atmosphere. The entryway makes a bold statement with a full stone-clad wall framed by custom-milled East Coast barn beams at the door and ceiling. The door itself was skinned to match the barn wood, ensuring seamless visual integration. This area is completed by a practical rustic entry bench carrying the same stone cladding, featuring rustic casework, subtle undercabinet lighting, and unique custom-fabricated railroad spike coat hooks.
