This full-scale remodel touched every surface of a three-bedroom condominium to create a high-end, contemporary home base. The project includes a custom open-concept kitchen with dark walnut and glossy cabinetry, a unique hanging bunk bed, and a multi-functional ski storage closet. The design is unified with solid core walnut doors and motorized window shades.

The Vision: A High-End, Functional Mountain Base

Our clients wanted more than just an update for their three-bedroom, three-bathroom condominium in The Village at Palisades Tahoe—they envisioned a completely contemporary and luxurious home base for their ski days on the mountain. To meet this vision, there wasn't a single surface we didn't transform, creating a sleek, open, and highly functional space perfectly suited for a modern mountain lifestyle.

An Open-Concept Contemporary Kitchen

The kitchen was completely reimagined to be the social hub of the home. We started by removing the outdated peninsula to make way for a spacious new quartz waterfall island, which now includes bar stool seating. For a completely seamless and minimalist look, all the kitchen cabinetry features Blum Tip-on hardware, creating a hardware-free, flush appearance. The design blends two complementary finishes: beautiful dark walnut lower cabinets and high-gloss white flat panel upper cabinets. We added another layer of design with dark walnut floating shelves over the kitchen sink, complete with integrated recessed linear lighting, and finished the backsplash with a unique cracked glass subway tile.
